Castle of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle
In the heart of the Périgord Noir region, 9km from Sarlat, Castelnaud castle, built on a rocky spur, offers a magnificent panoramic view over the Dordogne valley. Founded in the 12th century, it is a perfect example of medieval fortification. Today, it houses a major collection of weapons and armour. On the bastion, the most powerful siege engines of the Middle Ages are reconstituted in attack position.

Corn Maze of the Castles
Vézac, not far from Beynac and Sarlat, is home to a corn maze. To find it, simply head towards the Marqueyssac gardens.
The labyrinth is open every day in July and August from 10 am to 7 pm
Group rates are available.
You should allow 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the entire route.
