Lascaux 4 : International Centre of Cave Art

The Lascaux cave is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, with over 600 paintings and engravings dating back to prehistoric times. It was discovered by chance by teenagers in 1940 and quickly became famous for its exceptional paintings and engravings, which mainly depict animals such as bison, horses, deer and aurochs, but also include scenes of hunting and religious rituals.

Périgord Montgolfière in Castelnaud

The Dordogne valley in the Châteaux region is first and foremost a special kind of light, followed by a thousand architectural treasures and some particularly captivating landscapes. Shortly before sunset, or in the early morning, after a few preparations, you take off for a majestic discovery of the valley of the castles in Dordogne. The Montgolfière et Châteaux team, composed of passionate professionals, will share with you their pleasure of flying in a hot air balloon while offering you the best views of the jewels of the Périgord Noir. The balloon glides gently over the castles, along the river in the breeze to offer you the most beautiful journey? An unforgettable moment of weightlessness!

For those who enjoy a natural and refreshing swim, Les Cinq Châteaux is ideally situated with direct access to the Dordogne river.

Swimming pool: Work in progress!

Because we want to welcome you in the best possible conditions, we are currently carrying out work around the swimming pool. Removal of the pool enclosure, installation of a heat pump for a heated pool with a breathtaking view over the surrounding valley.
